Hardware failures seem to happen at the most inconvenient times,
and can sometimes require several days of down time for your office.
These failures can be broken down into three categories:

  • Latent Failures – Failures occurring without an apparent cause.
These failures may be covered under a maintenance contract.

  • Acts of God – Flooding, Lightning Strikes, and Power Surges.
These failures are not typically covered under a maintenance
contract, but may be covered under a business insurance policy.

  • Misuse/Abuse – Bumping, Dropping or Spilling liquids into
equipment. These failures are not covered under a maintenance
    contract or warranty.
